75 Members of Congress Stand By ACORN

Today, the House of Representatives  took the Senate's lead and voted to de-fund ACORN, 345-75.  ACORN workers were recently caught in several different cities, on camera, dispensing advice on illegal activities such as how to evade taxes, set up a brothel, seduce a bank president to get a loan, and even how best to smuggle underage girls into the country to use as sex slaves. ACORN has also been accused in 14 states of voter fraud; allegations that have led to several arrests.
ACORN workers in 5 offices in Baltimore, DC, New York and California did NOTHING when the filmmakers claimed they were pimping out underage girls. NOTHING!  Not a single person showed them the door or phoned the police. I can't even wrap my mind around it. Just who are these animals they hire at ACORN? How do they sleep at night?
Even worse, despite the damning hidden camera evidence presented by James O'Keefe & Hannah Giles on http://biggovernment.com/, 75 congressmen actually voted to keep ACORN's coffers full of taxpayer dollars.  75 men and women who swore an oath and who's duty it is to serve the people actually voted in support of this organization.  How ANYONE could support a group that repeatedly turned a blind eye to underage girls being used in the sex trade is beyond me.
It's true, ACORN may have done some good work, but that is not an excuse to keep sending them taxpayer dollars. The Mafia did some good works. Should we give them a pass? What about the Nazis? The National Socialist German Workers' Party did many good works for the Germans. Does that excuse their crimes? No, it doesn't. No sensible person would defend the Nazis or the Mafia because of a few good works. Likewise, ACORN should not be given a pass for the few good deeds it did.
Here is a list of the Congressmen that voted to keep funding ACORN. I've also included the 7 Senators who voted on Sept. 14th to keep ACORN funding. Remember, silence is consent. So let's start making some noise. If they are in your area, do the right thing and vote them out of office.
